Rubie the Terrified Jewel Rubiepic

Pelt Colouration: Rubie's coat is a basically a reddish brown colour, almost orange in some places. The bottom half of her muzzle is cream in colour. A dark grey mask covers the top part of her face, but is not around her eyes. Flowing along her back is black fur that runs down her tail. Her paws are a muddy brown colour and her front legs have an unusual dark mark running down them. The tip of her tail is black.
Pelt Length:
Eye Hue: Dark amber.
Markings: See Colouration
Scars: A scar runs across her front left leg, her reminder of the rock fall.
Build: She is a small wolf even for her age. Her tendency to cower makes her seem even smaller. Rubie is not well muscled, being made more for speed then strength.
Other Structural Items:Her ears are slightly larger than a normal wolves.

Disposition:
Rubie is a sweet young female, though at times she can be very fearful. She is a very timid wolf, nervous about most things. At times she will jump at the crack of a twig or the sound of the wind through the trees.
She's rather nervous about groups if wolves and when she does get really nervous she has a tendency to stutter, though once she feels more secure in a situation her voice will strengthen. It may take some time before she ever feels ok around other wolves. Her ability for conversation is not strong, not having had anyone to really talk to.
History:
Rubie was born into a normal pack with a brother and a sister, Valour and Ceinlys. They were the joy of the pack. However one fateful day a terrible accident happened. A rock-fall crushed her pack. At the time she was only six months old. Her pack was not the only thing crushed that day. Her heart was also. She wandered away from the site a broken wolf, until and old lone female found her. Her name was Mercy. Mercy taught her how to survive on her own. But most of all Mercy helped Rubie to overcome her loss with love. Rubie lived with the old wolf until the day she passed away. With her dying breath, Mercy instructed Rubie to find a pack. So she has come searching for a pack to join, a family to love.

I agree that Ruby and Howie will probably be two little chicken buddies, but Howie can be a talker :p
